Shane Shiplet
Shane began working with Valley products in 1997 as a parts and delivery specialist, gaining valuable hands-on experience with center pivots and irrigation systems. This foundation allowed him to transition into sales for a Valley dealer, where he spent a decade serving farmers across Umatilla County, Oregon, and the Horse Heaven Hills of Washington. During this time, he worked closely with growers to design irrigation systems tailored to their unique conditions and needs.
Following his success in sales, Shane spent another ten years with Valley corporate, where he was responsible for project sales, training, base station development, and managing a territory covering the West Coast. His extensive field experience has given him a deep appreciation for both the growers who rely on Valley products and the sprinkler systems that bring efficiency and reliability to their operations.
Shane believes in the power of long-term relationships and open communication to drive success for both farmers and businesses. Above all, he is committed to ensuring that every Valley user gains the full advantage of precision irrigation technology.
Ryan Shiplet
Ryan joined RiverTech in the fall of 2024 to contribute to the growth and legacy of the company his father built. With a background in accounting, risk management, and management consulting supporting clients in the Pacific NW and Mountain West, he brings a strategic perspective on customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and business management. His expertise helps drive RiverTech’s continued success and innovation for the future.
Outside of work, Ryan is an avid hiker, skier, and endurance athlete.
Matt Berry
Matt brings over 20 years of experience in Valley irrigation systems. After earning a degree in Irrigation Technology and Design from Walla Walla Community College, he began his career with Valmont Northwest as a Service Technician. As he developed expertise in Valley systems and technology, Matt transitioned into sales and design, building a strong portfolio through his commitment to customer service and product knowledge.
In 2019, Matt joined RiverTech as Service Manager, where he played a key role in developing the department into a leading service team in the region. Now serving as Sales Manager, he continues to support customers with his extensive knowledge of irrigation solutions, system design, and technical expertise.
Matt enjoys camping, fishing, and hunting in his free time and enjoying time with his wife and family.
Garry Moore
Garry is a highly experienced engineer and sales specialist in pumps, drives, and motors, with over 40 years of expertise working with WEG, ABB, and Tatung products. He has spent years designing large-scale pump systems for industrial facilities and, over the past decade, has focused on developing efficient irrigation solutions for agricultural operations.
With a deep understanding of system design and performance optimization, Garry is recognized as a trusted expert in his field, delivering reliable and innovative pumping solutions tailored to meet his clients’ needs.
Cayde Berglin
Cayde joined RiverTech in December 2024 as an irrigation systems salesperson, bringing hands-on agricultural experience and a strong technical background. After working in various roles on farms, he earned a degree in Agricultural Technology and Production from Washington State University. He then began his career with Simplot in farm operations support before spending five years in precision agriculture.
At RiverTech, Cayde applies his expertise to support irrigation system and technology sales, helping customers implement efficient and innovative solutions.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family and off-roading on ATVs.
Maddie Tuttle
Maddie joined RiverTech in October 2024 as a water application and sprinkler package salesperson, bringing hands-on experience in farm operations and water management in Southeastern Washington. Her background in agriculture provides her with valuable insight into efficient irrigation solutions tailored to growers’ needs.
Outside of work, Maddie enjoys spending time with family, working with horses, and contributing to her family’s farm operations.
Erica Gillum
Erica joined RiverTech in 2020 and plays a key role in aftermarket parts, purchasing, and receiving. She excels at understanding both customer and business needs, ensuring the warehouse is well-stocked and efficiently managing direct parts sales for growers.
With over a decade of experience in inventory management and aftermarket parts for the irrigation industry—including more than five years at RiverTech and seven years with Irrigation Components International (ICI)—Erica brings deep expertise in sourcing, logistics, and customer support. Her commitment to efficiency and service helps growers get the parts they need, when they need them.
Cesar Ambriz Mendoza
Cesar has been a valued member of RiverTech for over three years, supporting the parts department with inventory and warehouse management. He plays a vital role in ensuring growers have access to the parts they need, delivering directly to irrigators through the weekly parts route during the growing season.
With a strong commitment to customer service, Cesar builds lasting relationships with growers, actively listening to their needs and ensuring they receive the right parts and support to keep their irrigation systems running smoothly.
Hayden Blair
Hayden leads RiverTech’s service department, delivering tailored solutions and advanced technology to meet the unique needs of customers. With extensive experience in Valley precision irrigation technology—including Variable Rate Irrigation (VRI) and technology-enabled corner machines—he ensures growers maximize efficiency and performance in their irrigation systems.
Under his leadership, the service department has become a highly respected team within the Southeastern Washington and Northeastern Oregon irrigation community, known for its expertise, reliability, and commitment to customer success.
Cody Dean
Cody is a skilled and reliable service technician with over three years of experience at RiverTech. He specializes in installing, troubleshooting, and servicing irrigation systems, ensuring customers receive expert support to keep their machines running efficiently. His hands-on expertise and commitment to quality service make him a trusted resource for growers.
Patrick Walker
Patrick is a dedicated service technician with over three years of experience at RiverTech. Known for his exceptional customer service, he goes above and beyond to ensure growers receive prompt, reliable support for their irrigation systems. Whether installing new equipment, troubleshooting issues, or performing maintenance, he takes the time to understand customer needs and provide effective solutions. His expertise and commitment to service make him a valued partner to the growers he supports.
Usiel Negrete
Usiel brings over 15 years of experience in irrigation system construction, including five years with RiverTech and a decade at a Valley dealer. As Construction Manager, he oversees the planning and execution of irrigation system installations, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
With a deep understanding of Valley systems and on-the-ground expertise, he leads his team in delivering reliable, high-quality solutions tailored to growers’ needs. His commitment to precision and customer satisfaction makes him a trusted leader in the field.
Janie Sawyer
With over 15 years of experience in the industry, including more than six years at RiverTech, Janie plays a vital role in bookkeeping and administrative operations. She support the business and customers in timely and detailed invoicing, accounts payable, and office administration.
